I live in Kodiak and stayed in Anchorage to close a real estate transaction in person. Closed on a Tuesday (Nov. 25) and was told the proceeds from an all cash sale would be available after 1 pm the following day Nov. 26th. The closing agent said she would have an assistant call me when the check was ready. I waited till 3:30 today and no phone call. So I called and got recording that the offices were closed till the follow Monday for the Thanksgiving holiday. So I'm flying back to Kodiak tomorrow with no check while my interest continues on debt due to their incompetence!!! Choose another title company for your real estate transaction. I've done many closing with other title companies (mainly Stewart Title) and never had troubles!
